Peter Warren – Services Operations Director

Peter has a deep technical knowledge in many areas of engineering derived from more than 30 years’ experience of leading service, engineering and commercial teams to deliver successful and innovative solutions.

Peter’s most recent achievement before joining n.able was leading a team that earned a Queens Award for Industry in 2012 for improving the travel experience of the UK’s driving public. Peter gained a patent for his work on microwave antenna design patterns on this project and key to its commercial success was Peter’s management in delivering a high quality complex solution on time.

Midway through his career, Peter operated at sales director level in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry managing worldwide teams for more than 10 years securing revenue streams from strategic accounts (most notable being: Nokia, Ericson and Motorola) and at regional director level for territories including Scandinavia, UK, Middle East and South Africa. Peter’s greatest success in that period was quoted as “maintaining team motivation and a unified vision across the world”; in Peter’s view, good people make a business successful and make a good business great.

Before EDA Peter spent many years in electronics engineering, engineering management and service management; his most notable achievement in this period was enabling a new business venture by innovative thinking; using computers to fix computers. Peter introduced computerized functional test and repair assist solutions into the service and repair environment enabling the creation of a world class computer hard disk rapid service and repair business with zero defects policy.
